Cafe Bastille

February 16, 2010

A semi-new French café has appeared on the same block as the Italian Fratelli Milano. This French place, Café Bastille (248 Southeast 1st Street Miami, FL 33131), is a relatively reasonably priced restaurant. Originally, a crepe place, I believe they introduced new management, so it became a more upscale place. They still have crepes; crepe con lechón is my favorite. Their mussels are good, which also includes their own French fries. My girlfriend ordered their seared tuna sandwich, which we do not recommend; however, she also ordered their French onion soup, which we highly recommend.

Basically, this place is a restaurant with very friendly staff, an extensive menu at reasonable prices. If I were in downtown, I would venture here again.
