Frank Cinque Senior’s Eulogy by Jason

“Whether it was the best of times or the worst of times it’s the only time you have so live it like you will never live it twice.”

This one is dedicated to the memory of Frank Cinque, Senior who passed on today from his long battle with cancer.  He was a loving husband, father, and friend who is gone, but definitely not forgotten.

In my 20 years of knowing Frank he always had a smile on his face and truly enjoyed his time on this earth.   Through those years he has taught me the life lessons of:  the difference between right and wrong, keeping a man’s promise, lending a helping hand whenever possible, and how far hard work can take you.  Most recently Frank has taught me even in your darkest hour laughter is the best medicine.

Anyone who has ever had a conversation with him knows you are going to come away from that meeting laughing and feeling better about yourself.  That really speaks to Frank’s character and how a few of his words could have such a positive impact on so many lives.  I know Frank is up there right now probably cracking jokes making everybody feel better because that is the kind of person he was.

I also know Frank would want us to celebrate life instead of mourning death so for everyone reading this:

It’s never too late to follow your dreams.   Let nothing stand in your way and do whatever it takes because you can’t rewind a second in this life!

Thanks for showing me the way Big Frank. RIP 8/16/2010

Love,

J
